Attempt to sell photographs of Hitler by 190 thousand euros

Image via Wikipedia A photograph by German artist Thomas Demand on the assassination attempt against Adolf Hitler in 1944 reached 190,400 auction price in euros, informed the Berlin auction house Villa Grisebach.

Villa Grisebach A spokesman stressed that it is the highest price recorded so far for a work by Demand in an auction, held last night and the Berlin company that achieved the highest sales volume in its history.

Demand's work is a large photograph that is the subject of assassination attempt committed against the Führer on 20 July 1944, after which they were executed many Wehrmacht officers who had participated in the conspiracy.

The picture shows a reconstruction of the stage art in ruins for the attack which was committed in the "Wolfschanze" the refuge of the wolf "that served as headquarters for Hitler and his officers in Eastern Europe.
