The company will acquire this division of Mamiya is Cosmo Digital Imaging Company, Ltd. which was formed by Cosmos Scientific Systems, Inc. an IT company.
Cosmo Digital Imaging will be able to combine its expertise in software with photographic capabilities of Mamiya to achieve greater progress in the direction of digital technology professional photo.
Cosmo Digital Imaging is planning to carry out the changes on Sept. 1, 2006, and that will keep a substantial part of the basis for current employees and will acquire assets including inventory, proprietary brands and patents to ensure a smooth transition.
