Marathon photo to portray a thousand families (Spain)




Parquesur Fnac and the Mall Parquesur organize a marathon photo to portray a thousand families.

In its bid to cosmopolitanism and cultural diversity, the mall Parquesur becomes a great family album. The next day from Jan. 19 until Feb. 2, will mount a photo studio where all people who wish may take a free photo with your whole family will be on show at the Forum of the Fnac and which may brought back memories. The families of Parquesur 1000 is an initiative that is part of the exhibition 'Transit' by Uwe Ommeren (check out the gallery here), which incorporates photographs and mementos that families photographed at the Ommeren gift on the occasion of being portrayed in his previous project Photographic families'1000 '. The pieces that may be contemplated in the exhibition documenting the journey of Ommeren around the world to portray a thousand families in different countries and the gifts that the photographer has received over that time.

This German photographer based in France with a selection of images of families portrayed in their natural environment through the five continents. Following this assembly, Parquesur Madrid proposes to families who participate in a current portrait of the city. The project is a diverse portrait in which all have a place to live in Madrid and surroundings, without distinction of origin or kinship.

From the same Friday January 19, the Plaza de las Barcas of Parquesur relinquish its space to all those families who come to photographed in a studio installed for the occasion. A copy of the snapshot is give them to each family and, moreover, will be shown simultaneously on the same day the Forum until Feb. 7.

- Friday, January 19, 17 to 21 hours

- Saturday, January 20, 11 to 14 and from 16 to 21 hours.

- Monday through Thursday from 17 to 21 hours.
