IV Photograph Competition for Young Moratalaz 2007 (Spain)

The Board convenes the District of Moratalaz IV Certamen Young Photography Moratalaz 2007 with the aim of encouraging participation and concerns of young people in this kind of creative and artistic activities.
The Contest will be developed in accordance with the following
BASES
FIRST. Participants
Be open to all young people aged between 16 and 35 years who wish to do so.
SECOND. Presentation of the photographs .-
The deadline for submission of photographs will be from February 1 to May 14, 2007, inclusive. The photographs will be presented at the Cultural Center and Youth Moratalaz, located on the street Source Carrantona 8 hours from Monday to Friday from 11.00 to 14.00 pm and from 17:00 to 18:00.
The photographs are presented without signature or pseudonym, accompanying a sealed envelope to the outside should include only the year of birth and in its internal personal data: name, surname, age, identity card number, address, telephone number and e-mail of the participant .
Subject to compliance with the above conditions, the required documentation and photographs may be submitted by mail in a single shipment.
THIRD .- Features photographs .-
Will be submitted a minimum of three and a maximum of five photographs per participant.
The photographs submitted will be common themes and will be presented in paper size 18 x 24 cm.
The photographs must be original and unpublished, not winning in previous contests.
FOURTH. Selection .-
The ruling was made by a jury in number no less than five members, acting as the Councilman Chairperson Chairperson of the Board of District of Moratalaz delegatee or in person and as a representative of the Secretary of Cultural Activities Unit, Training and Sports of the District Board Moratalaz.
FIFTH. Awards
In this Certamen established two awards for the following amounts:
- First Prize: 1,000 Euros.
- Second Prize: 500 Euros.
The above awards will be subject to withholding taxes that come legally. The awards will be declared unsuccessful. In that case, the amounts of economic prizes not awarded, may be used at the discretion of the jury, to grant Special mention complementary.
SIXTH. Property and destinations of the photographs .-
All originals will be retained by the authors, District Board subject to the rights of reproduction of the photographs that won.
The original photographs submitted may be collected at the Cultural Center and Youth Moratalaz from May 1 to July 31, 2007. Once that deadline passed without removing the work means that the author finally relinquish his collection and be able to exercise any right in it.
The Board of District Moratalaz not manage, even at the request and on behalf of the participants, the return of photographs at home, by mail or through the transport agencies.
The Board of District Moratalaz expressly disclaims any liability for loss of the photographs that attends this Certamen, resulting from theft, fire, mislaid or other force majeure, as well as for the damage they may suffer, both in acts of reception and return as long as they are in their custody, and no subscribirá insurance policy to cover such risks.
SEVENTH .- failure of the jury.
The verdict of the jury will be made public on June 8, 2007, making the awards ceremony on June 14 at 21:00 am in the Board of District Moratalaz.
The ruling is final and will take place on the approach the artistic quality of the photographs and its values of creativity and innovation.
Participation in this IV Certamen Young Photography Moratalaz 2007 implies full acceptance of the Bases.
Any questions that arise in its interpretation will be resolved by the jury.
