Photojournalists inaugurate the sample Expofotoperiodismo
Made up of 157 images taken by photojournalists from 27 media, yesterday inaugurated the sample Expofotoperiodismo, which brings together such diverse topics as sports, entertainment, social and political life.
The photo exhibition, which will remain at the Museum of Mexico City until January 29 next, brings together pieces such as The inconvenience of democracy for Bernardo Moncada, and Game Passions, Carlos Castillo Ortega.
As well as photographs without a title of Jose Pazos Fabian, and Guillermo Alfonso Ogam Manzano, all from the Mexican News Agency, Notimex.
Also, pieces of photo journalists from other media such as Atenco lives, the struggle continues!, Carlos Garcia Guzman; Life and Death, by David A. Morales Díaz, and U2 in Mexico, Edgar Negrete.
Similarly, Nude public, Eloy Valtierra, and mounting order, Ernesto Zepeda, among others.
During the inauguration, Guadalupe Lozada, coordinator of the Historical Heritage, Arts and Culture of the Government of the Federal District, representing the secretary of the local Cultural, Elena Cepeda De Leon, emphasized the value of the images gathered.
"This exhibition allows us to key moments in the history of one year ending and it left a big imprint on politics, culture and sensitivities of all of us, and we will be able to recreate important moments," he said.
For his part, the head delegacional in Cuauhtemoc, Jose Luis Muñoz Soria, recalled that the work of photojournalists is the memory of any society, and in the case of the exhibitors' we have witnessed such a great job "being done every day .
It is noteworthy that in order to mount the show Expofotoperiodismo each of the 157 artists selected from the lens the image that was displayed at the Museum of Mexico City.
The first edition was held in 2005 in the Cultural Center San Angel, and submitted photographs of 102 photojournalists from 27 in active media, and because of its success was extended after a month to take her to several Metro stations in this capital.
