Photography Contest III "Reading to your goal" (Spain)

Description
The Department of Culture, from Cicero Town Hall Barcena of, together with the Municipal Library "Baldomero Fernandez Moreno," convened by the Photography Contest III "Reading to your objective," which has the function of achieving a vision of reading from another objective, that of the camera.
With such a contest is intended to encourage participants, through photographic images, a set of visual stimuli that help to discover how attractive the books and enhance the vision and using the library as a place of education and information, consultation and enjoy , Accessible to all.
1 .- PARTICIPANTS:
May participate in this competition all persons who so wish, whose minimum age is 18 years, residents in the province of Cantabria.
2 .- NUMBER OF WORKS AND FORMAT OF PRESENTATION
Each participant may submit a maximum of 2 original photographs in black and white or color.
The photographs must have a minimum size for 18 x 24 cm and a maximum of 30 x 40 cm, mounted on cardboard. In case of digital photographs, will be presented on CD with JPG file format.
May not be submitted to the contest any work with photo retouching by any software application. It also excluded all those pictures that have been awarded prizes both in the previous edition as in any other contest in which they participated.
The works will be delivered in a sealed envelope, to the outside include a pseudonym of the author and title of the work presented, and in the interior, the other on smaller: photocopy of identity card in place, telephone and e-mail author in the event of it.

The deadline for ending the day on June 8, 2007.
4 .- AWARDS
Establishes the following awards:
1st prize: € 200
2nd Prize: 150 €
3rd prize: 100 €
The awards will take place on June 18, at 20:00 am in the Telecentre Cicero.
Any of the prizes may be declared void if members of the jury deemed it so.
5 .- JURY
The jury will be appointed by the City of Barcena of Cicero. His decision is final and the implications that may arise will be resolved by the jury.
The jury's verdict was delivered on June 14, 2007, and published on its board of the Municipal Library.
6 .- PROPERTY OF WORKS
The winning photographs will be held by the Municipal Library, without payment of any claim by the author for any possible use.
The photographs not winning, may be picked up by their authors once made and delivered the prizes.
The original deadline for withdrawal of non-winners will end on June June 30, 2007. All those not Withdrawals works on this date shall become the property of the Municipal Library, without payment of any claim by the author for any possible use.
7 .- OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
The attendance at this competition implies acceptance of these bases.
