Gallery of the Library of New York
Some time ago I commented on the Library of Congress of the United States, and other sources to see old photos is the gallery that has the New York Public Library. Account in its collection with more than 450,000 digitized images of the original sources, and include not only photographs but also have lithographs, posters, prints only, illustrated books, maps and manuscripts.
In this 1901 photo you can see the famous House of Tiles in Mexico City, photographed by JB Millet.
