Fujifilm raises the price of color photographic paper and chemicals.
The company Fujifilm has announced that from August 15 near its line of photo paper will increase by 6% to 8% and the line of photographic chemicals to increase between 10% and 22%. The company said that this increase is because the price of inputs for production of these has been increasing, and that is not possible to continue to absorb these increases, among some of the materials used are silver and oil.
This increase in prices, along with the discontinuation of some of its products, is a clear demonstration of how the demand that has been taking technology in digital cameras is taking a greater force, that large companies have to cope with the phasing areas that are not productive.
This will also have a direct effect on those professionals in the photograph that still work with analog media, because anger is growing more difficult to obtain the material to do their job.
