Francesca Woodman is a photographer who was born into a family of artists. Born in 1958 in Denver, Colorado. His interest in photography came at a very early age, since at 13 he was starting with his early works. Quickly took the job in black and white, choosing a format of 21 / 4 inches. Between the years 1975 and 1979 he was a student at the Rhode Island School of Design in Provedence, and was accepted into the Honors Program that allowed him to live for one year in school property at Palazzo Cenci in Rome. During this period many of the photographs presented herself as the model, and because of the scheme imposed by the school to live in a precarious situation, are performed in empty rooms or with minimal furniture.
