Exhibition: "Vive Puerto Vallarta!" (Mexico)




The afternoon of Monday, the mayor, Javier Bravo Carbajal, inaugurated the exhibition of the work involved in the photo Vive Puerto Vallarta!, Which consists of 97 images that reflect the different cultural and tourist attractions in the city.

The opening of this photographic exhibition, was held in the lounge chair of the municipal town hall, where the mayor vallartense was accompanied by photographer Javier Perez Jimenez, coordinator of this project, the secretary general, Jose Hurtado Emigdio Rolón, the Director of Social Communication, Juan Carlos Peralta Cabrales and some of the participants of the event.

The first mayor pointed out that through this contest, which emerged from the proposal by the photographer Javier Perez, is intended to promote photo business and Puerto Vallarta as a tourist destination, so it will look to continue this show performed in the following years and best works are part of a book that will host this tradition.

He further stressed that it was an excellent call for the population, as in similar competitions in other cities ranges between 60 and 70 participants, while this issue was received in the works of 102 competitors not only from this fate, but also Nuevo Leon, Nayarit, Guadalajara and Mexico, also counting with the participation of 6 children between 6 and 11 years old, making collecting a total of 286 photographs.

FAIR Vallarta

It should be noted that the award of this contest, for the first three places, as well as special mentions, will take place next Monday, July 14.

The exhibition will remain in the town hall until the day of the awards and will be rotated so that all the photographs are exposed
