Exhibition opened in Egypt on pyramids of Mexico

The exhibition "Keepers of Time", organized by the Mexican Embassy in Egypt, consists of some thirty photographs of the Mexican Javier Hinojosa.

The Mexican photographer Javier Hinojosa last night opened an exhibition of his work on the pyramids of their country that was opened with a lecture by archaeologist Luis Felipe Solis, director of the Museum of Anthropology at the Aztec capital.

The exhibition "Keepers of Time", organized by the Mexican Embassy in Egypt, consists of about thirty black and white portraits of the pyramids that the Mesoamerican civilizations, Mayan, Aztec, Olmec and other built-in pre-Columbian Mexico.

The place chosen for the sample was the palace of Emir Taz, a delicate Mameluke palace of the XV-XVI century which was renovated a few months ago in the heart of medieval Cairo and hosts various art forms.
