Epson announces R Digital Photography Contest, with 30,000 euros in prize money
The competition has the slogan "We seek your best picture" and is intended for all amateur photographers in Spain and Portugal. Photo contest is open to the general public with greater allocation of prizes in the Iberian Peninsula convened.
The theme is free, registration is free and each author can send a maximum of three photographs. The only requirement is that the pictures have not been published or submitted in another contest, which are not offensive and that the images presented in the competition have been printed with an Epson printer. The deadline for receipt of photographs is November 3 this year and the verdict of the jury will announce the winners by 30 of the same month and the general public before December 15, 2006.
The 30,000 euro prize will be distributed as follows: first prize, diploma and $ 10,000, second prize, diploma and 5,000 euros, third prize, two works that will be recognized diploma and 2,500 euros each. It also will award five accesits 1,000 euros in cash and valued at five accesits Photo 1000 Epson product.
Jurors awarded the quality, originality and creativity of the photographs for competitions and will consist of six members: Photo editors Pepe y Manuel López Baeza, photographers Ouka Leele (National Photography Prize 2005) and Javier Leon, the Sonimagfoto president, Enric Galve, the art station Rosina Gomez-Baeza and CEO of Epson Ibérica, Juan Coromines.
To participate you just have to send the photo printed, a copy of it in digital format (CD) and a copy of the bases of participation signed by the participant. The envelope should indicate "Epson Photo Contest" and go to the following address:
