The photography market changing
A recent survey by InfoTrends / CAP, based on surveys done in the professional photography market, indicates a major change in the means used to take pictures.
About 80% of professional photographers and use a digital camera, and 52% of respondents plan to buy a professional digital camera in the course of next year. This is a sign that the ease of use, flexibility and immediate of them, has created a great impact.
On average a photographer with a digital camera took 482 pictures per week, and nearly 65% of these photos are then edited on the computer. Within this new trend, the format that is used is the RAW and a significant percentage is published online.
This survey was conducted in 1000 professional photographers from the United States.
