Subject
To mark the anniversary of Puerto Vallarta, is organizing the photo contest "Live Vallarta", whose main theme is Vallarta. We know your vision of the destination or port-related culture and environment. In short, any idea or concept related to Puerto Vallarta that can be expressed through a photograph belong in this competition.
Participants
Be open to all persons who so wish, regardless of nationality or age, except members of the jury.
Photo format
a) The images should be submitted printed on photo paper, size selected by the author which is not less than 11 × 14.
b) Digital adjustments should be minimal and will be accepted only if they are limited to adjust levels, curves, saturation and contrast. Not allowed photomontage or multiple exposures. In the case of detecting that corrections have been applied to digital photography is not allowed, it will be disqualified.
c) The photographs may be submitted in color or black and white.
Competition Jury and Phase
The jury is composed of personalities involved in the tourist and economic activity of the port. Their decision will be final.
2 June to 1 July: Acceptance Period photographs
7 to 20 July: photo exhibition participants
July 14: awards
Details of the photographs
a) Each author may submit up to three photographs.
b) In a digital archiving and CD data of the picture and the participant's personal data: name, age, telephone number, postal address and email address. Also indicate the title of the picture, plus a brief commentary as it has been taking and any other brief information about the picture that the author wants to provide better interpretation of it (maximum 150 words).
Awards
The following awards are established, they will not be cumulative in the same participant, whichever is the greater value.
1 $ 10,000
- A painting in the artist Vallarta relief Campero
- 2.000 postcards with the winning image
2nd $ 6,000
3rd $ 4,000
Property and reproduction
Submitted papers must be free of rights. Winning works may or may not be used to promote the destination. In cases of publication of photographs shall show the title and the author of them.
Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of these rules and the final decision of the jury.
