For the 6th year Fnac invites you to participate in the New Talent of Photography and to be recognized with a major exhibition.

New Talent Contest bases Fnac Photography 2007

1. From Jan. 29 to March 31, 2007 each photographer may submit their work at check-in information from any store Fnac of Spain with the words "New Talent Fnac Photography 2007" on the envelope and inside it, and in space well visible, the author's complete data (name, address, contact telephone number).

2. On Monday, May 14, 2007, a jury of recognized standing in the photographic world will announce in a public event to be held at the Forum in Bilbao Fnac, the photographer chosen as the New Talent Fnac Photography 2007, of which the Fnac is committed to organizing an exhibition from the month of June in all Fnac photo galleries of Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza, Alicante, Asturias, Donostia, Marbella, Murcia and Bilbao. The duration of this exhibition will be a minimum of 40 days in each place and Fnac is committed to managing its assembly, exhibition and promotion.

3. The dossier submitted by each participant shall consist of the following mandatory requirements:

• A minimum of 30 photographs and 50, all in the same format and with the same quality of circulation (paper 18 x 24 30 x 40 cm., Slide plates, or polaroids numbered series A4).

• A brief text of the submission of the photographer and his work, including particulars of his reading (numbers, leaflets, brochures, etc.)..

• In the back of each photo should include the name of the author and his data, under the title of the picture if necessary.

• Each photographer participating in this call should be ready to present a dossier of 50 photographs capable of meeting the criteria for exposure of photo galleries Fnac.

4. The New Talent initiative Fnac Photo 2007 is open to any tendency without exception, although the jury will be particularly receptive to the photographic quality of the writing: reportage, documentary, personal diary, travel, landscape, portrait, art photography, etc ... The originality of the proposal, its uniqueness or universality, will be decisive for the final selection.

5. The works submitted must be unpublished and can not in any way be derived in whole or in part in any previous exposure.

6. The photographs submitted will be governed, as far as rights are concerned, by the standards of promotion and exposure arising out of the program Fnac New Talent of Photography and, in general, the presentations of their galleries.

7. Proposals submitted after the deadline or that do not conform to what is stated in these bases will not be submitted to the jury.

8. The work not selected will be returned to their authors (or persons duly accredited) within 15 days after the failure of the prize at the same desks Information Fnac stores where they had been delivered. No correspondence will be maintained in any case with the participants.
