CALL
Wine Fest, the Festival of Wine in Vallarta, invites all professional photographers and amateurs to compete and exhibit photographs with the theme where the protagonist of the image is WINE
BASES:
1 .- They can be professional or amateur photographers to participate regardless of age, sex or residence.
2.-Each author may participate with a minimum of 3 photographs of any subject, where the wine is a party or the main picture.
3.-The photos participants can be delivered:
a) As a serial or individual.
b) It may have been taken in any format (digital, analog, medium format, etc.).
c) For the selection process was given the pictures by e-mail only.
d) already selected, the photos can be printed in any format for the exhibition, the costs of printing and framing, borne by the participants.
e) The photographs selected for the exhibition can be presented with a maximum size of 1.5 mt., for its longest including the frame.
f) The format of delivery, framing and presentation are free of choice for participants. Must have the appropriate quality for exposure.
g) will not be accepted content of which has a commercial or
propaganda of any kind.
4 .- The exhibition will feature two major parts:
* Photographs of authors by direct invitation.
* Photographs of participants for selection, which will be
selected by the Organizing Committee.
5 .- The number of photographs to display for each author may vary between 1 and 3 depending on:
a) the final number of participants
b) the space available
c) the quality of the material.
CONTEST AND AWARDS:
All photographs accepted into the competition. The jury will evaluate the photographs qualifier participants and their decision is final.
1. FIRST PLACE.
- A stay for two at Velas Vallarta hotel with a duration of 2 nights, 3 days all inclusive, food and beverages.
- Complete Dinner for two at the restaurant La Petite.
- 1 Box of Wine
- Diploma in the first place.
- Recognition by the municipality.
2. SECOND PLACE.
- A stay for two at the hotel Hola Puerto Vallarta Club & Spa, with a duration of 2 nights, 3 days all inclusive, food and beverages.
- Complete Dinner for two at the hotel restaurant Andrea Velas Vallarta.
- 1 Box of Wine
- Diploma in second place.
- Recognition by the municipality.
3. THIRD PLACE.
- Dinner for two including a bottle of Italian wine in one of the participating restaurants.
- Diploma in third place.
- Recognition by the municipality.
* All participants will receive a diploma certifying their participation in the contest.
* The participants accepted photos may be reproduced in a brochure published by the Wine Fest.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
6 .- To confirm your participation will need to send an email to jsfer@yahoo.com, which contains the following:
- Up to 5 photos to 1000 x 800 pixels resolution format. JPG, at least 3 photos.
- Each photograph must be sent as file name, the name or pseudonym of the author, surname and a consecutive number. Example:

- The body of the mail registration should include the following information: Full name, nickname (if used), including location of cell phones, email, age and city of residence. It also should mention the format and presentation of the proposed size of each photo including framed.
DELIVERY DATE:
7 .- The deadline for receiving photos for selection will be on 10
February 2008, will not be taken into account material that comes after that date.
8.-After selecting the material to expose, Winefest Vallarta Nayarit, Jalisco + 2008, notified via e-mail to each author to report on what picture (s) involved, adding the format for filling the corresponding data sheets.
9.-The delivery of the selected photos will be on FORUM CP in the direction Tomas V. Gomez # 125 in the city of Guadalajara or in the restaurant La Petite in Puerto Vallarta.
Only receive material authors duly registered and whose pictures have been selected.
REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPOSURE
Each 10.-author of delivery of their material must:
a) sign the authorization to use images for the promotion of the Hall of Photography in print and in the virtual gallery.
b) including Deliver a CD writing your resume in Word to a pastern, Arial font, No.10 double-spaced and contain the same digital files of photographs to display in. JPG at 300 dpi, with size 10 inches by his side larger.
INAUGURATION and awards:
11 .- It will take place during the inauguration ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco's Wine Fest on Feb. 27, 2008 in the place and time that the organizing committee subsequently appointed and will be announced in due course.
The Festival of Wine Wine Fest Vallarta, Jalisco, Nayarit + will be held on 27, 28, Feb. 29 and 1 March 2008.
