blueMarine, a free option to catalog photos
For those who have a lot of photos, whether amateur or professional level, it is important to have a program to make the selection and arrangement of them.

blueMarine is a free, open-source program that can be a substitute for the above options.
blueMarine allows you to create catalogs of photographs in JPG or TIFF formats like RAW (CR2, CRW, DNG, MRW, NEF, PEF, SRF). And already created catalogs, can be viewed in various ways such as by folder, calendar, labels, and so on.
Its role is to give a rating by stars and also make a selection from which to keep, and which must be discarded.
You do not have some functions like the other programs, with which it is possible to make some adjustments to the photos. But if you want a program to make a selection faster and that is free is a good option.
The program is available for download for Windows, Mac and Linux, as it works with Java technology. The version you can download today is 0.9 RC2b, so you can still have some problems.
