Annie Leibovitz to photograph the Obamas in the White House
The American photographer Annie Leibovitz, famous for his pictures of celebrities, took an official photo of the Obama family released by the White House.
Taken on September 1 in the 'green room' of the presidential residence in Washington, the photo shows the four members of the "first family" U.S.: the country's president, Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and their two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
Little Sasha, eight-year, poses in a white dress and arm on the shoulder of his father, wearing a maroon tie on white shirt. Malia, 11, also tenderly embraces her mother, long black dress.
Since the beginning of his career in 1970, Leibovitz has photographed hundreds of celebrities, from John Lennon to the Queen of England.
But the artist of 60 years has suffered financial setbacks recently. In September, narrowly averted bankruptcy after reaching an agreement with creditors to restructure a debt of $ 24 million.
