Agfa closes its doors
The German company Agfa expects to close its doors permanently in December, dam of digital technology and not have taken the time to break into it.
Agfa has been operating under bankruptcy protection since last May, and they are hoping to sell the product they have in stock to ensure the closure.
When the digital era started in photography, Agfa was one of the leading companies in the sector of the film and cameras, but uncertainty had to break into the digital. This has led to sales that have had a great fall.
This company was founded in 1867, and for the 20's of last century, was located as the best in terms of digital color photos. And in 1959 positioned itself as a pioneer in the market by introducing the first fully automatic camera. Over the past few years the company failed to address the decline in prices in the chambers, primarily to digital, and his teams made it very handmade and with very high prices, they could not compete. We decided to focus solely on the printing process, but it was not enough to recover.
